fuelcut i think?????

i recently installed a hallman boost controller on my 92 gst, and i turned up the boost to 10 and when the turbo spooled up it felt like it was kicking back. i think its a fuel cut but i am not sure any ideas.

by you saying "kicking back" it sounds like you need new plugs and/or plug wires. you shouldn't hit fuel cut at 10psi. i run 16psi on stock fuel pump/injectors.

It isn't a fuel cut. My Buddy's GSX started doing the exact same thing after we put Hallman BC on it.We've played with sparkplug gaps and stuff, but were only able to delay the hesitation. Then we've replaced stock BOV with Greddy one, that *almost* healed it, but it still hesitates over a certain rpm mark.

Next thing we're doing is checking ALL vacuum hoses and connections, and pressure-testing the SMIC. Most likely it's a boost leak in the system, but it won't leak under lower pressure.

My suggestion, is to pressurize each intake part at a time, untill you find a leak.

Sencond step is to check fuel filter. It may be too clogged to supply enough fuel at higher RPMs.

oo well im guessin its the bov luckily i jus bout the greddy type s recently, and jus replaced the fuel filter so ill pry put the bov on and check the vaccum lines and pry some new spark plug wires
