Hey guys,
My auto seat belt on the driver's side goes over my shoulder when I turn the ignition on and comes off when I turn the ignition off, but when I open the door with the engine running the seat belt doesn't move. I know that it should come off because my passenger's auto seat belt works just fine and comes off when the door opens. This situation gets really annoying when I go to pick up the mail. Anyone have a similar issue? Anything I can check? Thanks.

Similar to the issue here, but no answers.

I owned a 1991 Talon with the seat belt on an automatic mouse. Yours works better.

Trying to reach the code pad on a car wash I opened the door and the belt zipped by trapping my head between the belt and the door. Being surprised I jerked back and closed the door causing the belt to zip back the other way and wrap the belt completely around my head. I don't think anyone was watching, at least I hope not.

Lol. That's funny. Suicide by seatbelt OMG. Well, I've had this issue for a while, so I'm kinda used to it, but it would be nice to fix.

I would try checking the door latch switch and the seatbelt motor relay. PM me if you need more info

my car won't start at all because of the automatic seat belt, the seabelt motor isn't working right.....is there a quick fix for this?

I don't think that the automatic seatbelt will keep your car from starting. What is it doing that makes you think it is not working correctly?
