Hey guys. So i cant figure out my problem. have it narrowed down and just wondering if my thoughts here make sense. Ever since my car died on me one day i've been having bad problems. I replaced my ecu and isc which were both fried. Now, my car refuses to boost properly. idling, driving out of boost is all good. but as soon as i hit boost it almost sounds like a crazy misfire. I've checked the ecu, replaced plugs and wires and checked timing. thinking it could be the coil or transistor. would that make any sense?

I am having the same problem with my car. It is pretty much doing the same thing you say yours is doing. I have replaced the plugs and wires, and checked for boost leaks.

Before I had this problem the car seemed like it had no power at all and so i replaced the transistor with one off of a 91 talon( may not be compatable with a 95 eclipse gst but it seems to work) and it fixed that problem, but i cant seem to figure out the same problem you are having.

I am currently replacing all the timing parts because when i checked it i had to take the covers off and all that so i figured i would repace all the parts since i am already down there, and with my milage it would be a good idea to replace the parts since it has never been replaced

I know this may not help too much but i just thought i would let you know what i have done with the same poblem you got.

Pleas post a reply if you figure out your problem or if anyone may have an idea of what is wrong to help me and loewen21 out.

Ya i'm about to try the coil and transistor soon i think. I just did my timing all new in june so that should be fine.

Just wondering if you tried the transistor or the coil pack to see if it helped any?

I just finished timing my car this past weekend and when i get time i am going to try a boost leak test again and try a different transistor and coil pack and see if that helps any, and thats why im askin you if the transistor or coil helped the problem before i start on that.

I'm running a solid .028 right now. My alt voltage is pretty good i believe and the battery is a month old. I can run defrost, brights, and heat on high at idle no problems. Hoping to try coil and transistor soon
