Replaced clutch, now less pedal pressure.

I got a JDM transmission and did the 90 to 91+ swap on my car. While my transmission was out, I noticed my clutch disk looked terrible, so I went and got a set from an auto store. So I installed a new disk, pressure plate, and throw out bearing. I used the alignment tool and everything. I also got a new flywheel. All those parts were just replacement parts, so I was wondering if it is normal to feel a big difference in clutch pedal pressure after the install. I did bleed the clutch lines too. It is much easier to push the clutch in now. It feels like my stock 1993 Honda Civic now. It still disengages and engages the clutch, but you can feel a little jerk when I shift and let the clutch out. Is it normal to feel the loss of pressure but still have it be completely functional? Why can I feel a jerk when I shift and let the clutch out? Any help is appreciated. Thanks

I believe it was a stock one. Because the car had absolutely no mods done to it before I got it. The disk looked really old and torn up too, way past needing a replacement.

Did you bleed your clutch? Have you checked your master and slave cylinders?

Even some stock replacement clutches will have a lighter than stock feel. As long as its not slipping, I wouldn't worry about it.

I did bleed the slave cylinder, but I don't really know what to check for on the slave or master cylinder when looking for problems. I heard the slave cylinders can go bad easily, I've bought a new one but haven't installed it yet. It's not slipping but when I engage the clutch it's not smooth. You can feel a jerk when you let the pedal out. I've been driving a stick for 3 years, so it's not like I don't know how to drive one, and it didn't feel this way before I got the new clutch. Thank you for the feedback.
