ok so my car is throwing a code and after erasing it twice and replacing the temperature sensor it still comes up as the coolant temperature is to low and that it will stay in closed loop mode. now i replaced the thermostat and the number 1 o2 sensor and im still getting this. i saw another thread but i didnt quite answer my questions. so some one told me that closed loop means that my ecu is ignoring my upgraded turbo and everything i have done and is running in the safest mode possible KILLING MY HP! they also told me that it could be from my themostat sticking open due to calcium in my coolant and that i should get it throughtly flushed please help me out!:dsm:

Open loop is what happens when your car is cold, and also at WOT. It won't cause your car to ignore any upgrades but it will kill your gas mileage. You need to get some kind of logger on it to find out whats really going on.

Have you checked the new sensor with a multimeter? Have you changed the thermostat? Like said early invest in a logger, that will help you figure out what is wrong.
