Yes you have to do it right or your injectors won't fire make sure you follow the directions carefully....haha right turbosax?
 
i am just wanting to boost 22# i have a t3t4 turbo whith front mount.. and a cometic headgasket with arp studs..what all should i do to accomplish this?
 
Is it still your factory turbo?...Also boost numbers don't mean everything theres 10 sec dsms only running 15 psi it all really depends on your turbo size..

no its an after market turbo. see this is a project car and im just doing little things as i can afford them so that was why i was askin about the fuel pump. ..so i am not hijacking anyones thread.

To the OP: for starters, you're going to need a tuning device and a logger. And, by the looks of your current profile, some bigger injectors.

any suggestions on what size injectors. plus i dont have any idea on how to tune or use any of that hi tech equipment..

its an ebay special t3t4.. i also have an extra just in case

Your not listening to me t3t4 is only the flange.What size turbo you got t18,t25,14b,16g,evo 3 16g,20g,theres 50 trims 60 trims I can go on forever...But most likely you probably don't know due to the fact its an eBay turbo and I speak for most people when I say eBay turbos are no good. If you post up a pic of it it can be identified(most of the time)..Get that pic up so we can help you a lot better.
 
oh sorry the turbo is a 50 trim... also no tuning devices...also the car runs like it has some hesitation..my factory boost guage reads 14# and my aftermarket guage reads 10# but the car gust has no GO to it i mean it feels like it trys and just cant pick its self up.. i have no boost leaks...i rearranged lines on the external waste gate and still nothing. does any one have any suggestions or should i post another thread for this one???:beatentodeath:
 
Well, since you don't have a tuner or a logger, you can't really do much now. Yes, you could turn up the boost, but you risk screwing up your engine so I'd highly recommend not doing that.

Just out of curiosity, how can you tell how many pounds of boost you're running by the stock gauge? :confused:

And as for injectors, it all depends on how much money you want to spend. You can go with something equal to or smaller than 660cc's and just get an S-AFC and a logger and call it a day. But, you will probably max these out pretty quickly. Next, you could get DSMlink or another ECU chip and go with as large of an injector size as you'd like. Then, pending on which chip you get, you might need to get a logger. If you get DSMlink, you'll need an EPROM ECU and then just purchase DSMlink, get your ECU socketed (which can be done when purchasing), and then you have a tuner and a logger in one package. Granted, this is probably more expensive. But, you will have the option to run almost any injector.

Do a bit more research and see what other people with the equivalent turbo are running. This can give you an idea as to what tuning/logging devices they have, what size injectors, what other supporting mods, and what kind of numbers they're putting down.

Also, please fill in your profile as much as you can because I'm sure you have mods on the car that aren't listed.
