Valve cover problem

I have a 92 laser awd, About 3 months ago I replace the valve cover gasket and about a month later I noticed oil was everywhere on the passenger front side of the engiine capartment, so I was pretty sure it was the valve cover gasket right at the halfmoon. So since it was a new gasket I just cleanded it up and used a little bit of vht on both sides. It has held up for about a month but I was doing some axis spins on snow in a legal area and saw my oil pressure drop to about a quarter. This whole time I was probally around 5000 rpms. I pop the hood and see oil everywhere in the same area but more. So is there a way to fix this from happening? Is there to much pressusere built up? Just looking for some answers.

Are you sure it's not coming from the dipstick popping out?

its not the dipstick, I have it rigged so it wont and all the oil leak is on the passenger side of the engine.

Do you have the stock ventilation and pcv system hooked up? Sounds to me like your getting too much pressure in the vc causing the gasket to leak.

Did you over tighten the valve cover bolts cause they are only supposed to be 2.5 lb ft torqued done at most and can you take a pic of what your talking about?

I'm not to sure if I have the stock ventilation. Here is a pic from the other day( its to dark know but might have a better pic tomorrow)

On the drivers side front of the valve cover it was overtightened but fixed. But know the others aren't over torqued.

Its coming from the filter on your valve cover that needs to be plugged in to you intake pipe you can put a catch can there to not get oil into the intake but thats where the oil is coming from

alright so it just goes on the intake after my filter, it had that small filter thing on when I bought it. Thanks

Remove the little filter and either run a straight vacuum line from there to your intake or put a catch can in the line.

Alright Im going to do the catch can and route it back to the intake. But when all the oil came out it had to be about 2 quarts, I wouldn't think that small of a thing could cause that much in such a short amount of time.
