Hey everyone I am new here I curently have a Saturn that all my work and dreams went up in flames in... Literally just this week... I don't have a dsm yet but am looking at one it is a 91 eagle talon tsi it just isn't getting any spark and wanted some input first before I go to look at this car he Says it isn't getting any spark he replaced the ignition module spark plugs, spark plug wires, and cam shaft position sensor is there much else on these that could cause this issue he said after he replaced all this it started just didn't again. after that... I know in the saturns that it can also be the ecu or the crank shaft position sensor but like I said I just don't know... Thanks for any help on this

Travis

If he actually verified that it has not spark this could be a different issue, but it sounds like the ecu isn't sending anything because its dead. I would check the ecu when you go buy it. If it is the ecu, get the car for cheap, by a remanufactured ecu from STEVE, the wiseman here, and start fixing whatever else is wrong, then begin modding.

Its cheap enough 700 and the engine and trans has been replaced he just doesn't want to put anymore money into it

Will do thanks... Like I said I have always had a Saturn so I don't really know much about dsms

it could be the coil or maybe the power transistor under the coil. and last but not least the ecu. i always start with the less expensive stuff. i actually have the coil and transistor. and the car seems cheap enough to invest some money in.
