ecu wont read...NEED HELP

im trying to get my car smoged everything passed except the self diagnosis test ... my ecu wont pic up any data to fill any bars and ive driven it alot. what could the problem be.

Just keep driving it; that's the only real way to complete those monitors. If you're cool with your smog tech he/she can skip the OBDII test with a flick of a wrist; I used to do it when a customer returned more than twice and the same monitors still haven't cleared, just as a courtesy because some cars are just stubborn.

Continue to drive it under a variety of conditions (long cruise, rapid acceleration, etc) and don't disconnect your battery and it should complete the monitors.
