The motor came with the spark plug wire cover that says "Tuned by Amg"
n another site a saw a reference to a 63DTR piston in a Galant VR4 if the engine is 6 bolt I would guess thats most likely what it is.im confused now. So will the pistons in that motor say what mine says (63DTR). My oil cap is yellow. There is another difference. I thought my motor was really rare.
Sorry to highjack, I wanted to verify the piston numbers above.63DT is what 1g pistons say and 2g say 63DTF1 I think the T in the #s means turbn another site a saw a reference to a 63DTR piston in a Galant VR4 if the engine is 6 bolt I would guess thats most likely what it is.
I am now doing 2g pistons/ 1g rods for a friend of mine and these pistons say 63DTK. The pistons were from a 92 7 bolt. After I finish this motor I will rebuild my jdm swap.

The car I bought supposedly had the 2g pistons installed, I have the head off and the crown number is 63DT-F1.
