no spark!

the car has no spark and wont start. I have replaced the coilpack and the ingintiion timing module. what could be wrong????

try the crankshaft position sensor... wiring and all fuses and relays, what did you do to check for spark?

There is no crank sensor. It's a cam sensor. It's on the back of the head driven off the camshaft. Now, this is a diagnosis from several hundred miles away, but if you have 12 volts to the injectors and coils, I would put a good guess on the Cam sensor.

Don'y forget to check the ECU (CEL at ignition on, boost gauge reading 0) before throwing money at other parts. If the ECU isn't running, nothing interesting is going to happen.

I'm having a similar problem. I have a 2g with the 6bolt swap and I have spark only coming from one coil pack. I did the swap myself and the car ran before with the 7bolt engine I've changed the coil and still does the same thing I've also put in a new cam sensor and nothing and I've also changed out the ignition timing module and still doesn't work. Any ideas???

I have a 98 gsx with no spark from all 4 an no power to the fuel pump iv replace the ingnitor chip, cam sen, plugs wires dont know what else to do can anyone help?

have you tried the fuses? Did this happen all of a sudden? Does it have the factory 7 bolt? A little more information on how it led up to this problem could be useful

its a 6 bolt out of a 91 i was drivin and the speed and rpm gague were hopin around so i turned it off then it wondnt start back up

Well what you can do is check the fuses and relays. It linda sounds like you might have shorted something out.

I'd have to see the relay to tell you how to test it I'll look at my fuel pump relay tomorrow and inform you.

4g63 Deagle, My friend 2g eclipse had 2 coils sparking and 2 not. The problem was the transistor pack. That may help. My friend's transistor pack went bad from the battery recharger cables being put on backwards.

I used two different one of those could it be because its not grounded good? Oh and I didn't check on that relay today I'll try to get on it tomorrow
