trans noise ...like balls rolling around

i got a 96 talon nt...i got a noise coming from the tranmission ...it sounds like grinding ...... it only makes the noise when the clutch is disengaged...or if the clutch is pushed and the car is in gear ....any gear...i just cahnged my trought out bearing , but it still does it...so i think it mite be my clutch it self...the spring hiting or grinding....but i dont know.....help.......

It sounds like bearing failure the way your describing it, I would double check the clutch but it sounds more like a bearing in the tranny to me.

Do you have any problems with it popping out of gear or anything?

it sounds like it can either be your throw out bearing, or possibly your center differential.

+1 for Throw out Bearing, followed by internal transmission problems (diff or roller bearing)

Try grabbing the TOB with the plastic instead of metal.
