Is it possible to remove ONLY the exhause housing of the turbo with everything else in place? I need to do this to port the wastegate hole. boost creep is getting annoying! any tips/ advice?

You can if you have 4 bolts on the turbo and not the one stud, just unbolt the O2 housing and then unbolt the turbo from the manifold, and then remove the center band clamp from the turbo and pull the housing away gently so you dont damage your turbo.

first undo the clamp around the turbo and then take the bolts out of the downpipe. after that you have to unbolt the wastgate and then all that should be left is the four bolt on the the manifold.
