all of a sudden out of the blue at the track my car will not rev past 6k in neutral or 1st.. sometimes it will also mess up in second and it always works fine in 3rd gear.
I know it is not a tuning issue the car is tuned near perfect it has a stock 90 ECU base timing of 5*, denso 660cc, 3" GM MAF, AFC Neo, wideband, walbro 255 hp w/3/8" fuel hose from pump to front.
the rest of the car is not effected on that run it did not clear up till 3rd gear and it still pulled to 99.34mph in the 1/8th but only went a 7.78.
it will rev right up to 6k but start like a 2 step and actually build 7psi of boost sitting still it is damn weird I know 100% there is no such device or way the car has a 2step on it.
I have ohmed the wires at 58-82 ohms MSD 8.5mm
replaced the CAS no change
replaced the coil harness (had some soldered wires from an old MSD install.)
the only thing I have found out of place on the logger is when it is doing this the o2 voltage is around .13-.18 the wideband is high 14's low 15's I have never seen a o2 sensor effect a 1g that badly though. and then again why would it seem to start working okay once it is moving down the road?
any insight would be greatly appreciated
