I just installed a new crank angle sensor, started the car, cleared the CEL, but still have a timing/lean issue, I think. Data log is from idle. When I rev the car, timing drops from 5 to 4, through out the rpm range and I no longer smell fuel from the exhaust. The main radiator fan is always on high now, I can't get it to turn off. I only have one question, what the hell is going on?

Background
This problem originated when the car lost all power past 2200 rpms after a left turn, not crankwalk. The Eclipse was also idling low at 200 rpms after the left turn. Disconnected the negative batt. terminal and ECU. Car started and idled fine upon reconnection, however CEL p0355 showed up. Bought and installed a new crank angle sensor.

Your log is all at idle. I didn't see any RPMs above 1000. That being said yeah your o2 readings are all over the place. I wouldn't pay too much attention to STFT really at all, but long tern is worth at least keeping an eye on. I'd say do at least a 2nd gear pull up to about 5k and log that with a pull till near redline in 3rd being optimum. I know your car isn't doing to well, but the issue may present itself even more clear at higher RPM.

I would say from your logs that there is a good chance your timing could definitely be off (among a few things) and I would definitely make sure your that your install of the new crank angle sensor is kosher. The logs aren't too terrible for idle because it can be all over the place even on a decent running car, so just get some driving in and then see what they look like. If your timing stays at 5 during any sort of load then yeah I'd say you're running lean, but the real issue is why that's happening. On your next run log everything and include it in your post.
