Symptoms
  • Low idle ( 200 + rpms ) no stalling issues
  • Can't rev past 2,200 rpms in neutral or in gear, even on WOT.
  • Hesitates like fuel cut when I throttle past 2,200 rpms
  • Both radiator fans turn on intermittently
  • No boost leaks

UPDATE: Initially, the CEL did not light up in the dash gauge. I found the P1300 CEL through pocketlogger. The next step continues here:http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=272400

I'm going to check the IAC and FIAV but is there any indication, in the pics, to look at other sensors? I still have the RAW files if anyone wants to take a closer look, pm me. BTW, the CEL pulled (Pocketlogger) is P1300.

I need help on this subject. So today i re-timed my car and replace the coil packs. I'm now getting the p1300 ignition timing adjustment circuit malfunction.

Before I did this I got a cylinder 4 misfire code. I've been trying to find out what this bad idle/knock under boost is. Compression good and ignition to the plugs are good. And timing is good. I'm about to give up and let some mechanic look at it:cry: I thought I did everything to fix this problem.

And my car was idle/knocking before I swiched ECU's. My mods are in my file. Please I need help before I push my car off a cliff...I mean let a mechanic look at it.....:sosad:

The ignition timing circut it's reffering to, is the communication between the ignition module (power transistor for DSMs), and the ECU. If you already replaced the ECU and that wasn't it, then it's either the wiring between the two, or the power tranistor has failed. The reason it runs badly is that it probably reverted to base timing as if the timing connector was grounded. 5 degrees BTDC probably doesn't feel too good under boost at 5000 rpm.
