I just bought a 1990 Tsi AWD Turbo Eagle Talon and had a question. My car runs rich because the Turbo is currently removed. It's been burnt up by it's previous owner, so I see no use in putting it back on especially since the manifold that's currently on the vehicle can work without the turbo.

My question is; How do I keep the car from running rich on an Eagle Talon built with a turbo if I have removed the turbo? Do I need to buy a new chip to change the fuel to air ratios, or is there some other means?

u can swap the ecu but why? save for a new turbo. you have about an 80 hp loss with out the turbo on there. :talon:

Seriously...running a turbo car, without a turbo...buh...

Just slap back on a turbo that works. What would be the point of buying a car that was meant to be turbo and then try and make it into a N/A? Instead of buying a new ECU, buy a freakin' turbo with that money and make the car the way it was intended to run.

The audacity of some people  :)))

Turbo to N/A= Blasphemy
