where does this alternator wire go?

Hi. I just bought a 97 GST and I noticed this wire hanging down from the alternator. I can't figure out where it goes. wire is blue/white and wire is about 12-15" long. thanks.

i believe that goes on the power steering pump, it aids the power steering pump cut-off at high rpms. look for an connector on the powersteering pump for it to plug into.

As stated, it goes to the ps pump. Look for a little silver nipple on the front of the pump for it to slip onto. If you dont see it, it is probably broken like half the DSM's Ive seen.

yeah that goes on the power steering pump i was just looking at that today

you guys were right, I double checked my manual and mine would be at the top and yes 92awddsm it is broken. thanks for the help.
