My car has been sitting for a while and my buddy and I have been going down the list trying to figure out why it wont start. It will crank but it wont turn over. The crank isnt weak either.
We checked all the basic stuff like the battery, its getting fuel, CAS is good, brand new alternator. Although when we checked the coil pack it had small holes where the wires connect therefore causing the misfire that was happening right before the car stopped working. We took out the coil pack and I got one from my buddy who had an extra used one but it turns out that 1 of the packs on it had the same problem. So I went to pep boys and bought one and hooked it on the bracket with the other good pack.
We go to check for spark and get it on all plugs except for the 2 & 3rd. Any ideas. This is the brand new coil pack I just bought? The only thing I can think of is because its a 2g coil pack. Aren't they the same though. We have not taken the ECU apart yet but I'm thinking thats next. Any other suggestions before we do that?
This is starting to make me angry
