Mods please dont delete this.
I tried posting other places with no answers.
I had a few suggestions and checked them all, and none fixed it.

This is not a dsm its a 97 checy lumina with a 3.1 engine.
It is over heating and the heads are filling up with water.
The rear head is pushing water into the air box
All the water ends up in the oil pan.
What do you guys think?Blown head gasket?Cracked heads?
I have a videos if that will help.
Its not the intake gasket causing the overheating.
All help appreciated.

Thanks

This would cause the heads to almost completely fill up with water?
Somebody told me if I pluged the vacume source for the pcv valve and them placed my hand over the oil fill hole and it was sucking in its the intake gasket. Its not sucking in.
It blows out a little bit.
Would you like to see the video?

the 3400 motors or 3.4 liter gm motors have this dumba$$ cross overdesign. If the gasket blows apart you get coolant in your intake manifold. Oh thats just an effing awesome idea, now i can go hydrolock some cylinders. :toobad:

i believe there were a few other motors with this design aswell.

but yeah sounds like a headgasket, usually if your overheating your cooling system the reservoir might overflow a little, but when you have a cracked head or blown headgasket you push coolant-meaning it actually splashes out instead of just dribbling out.

If its the headgasket, it might not overheat when its at idle, but as soon as you increase rpm it will start to heat because the combustion is heating the coolant.

Best of luck man.

Its got way to much water coming in way to fast for it to be a headgasket and not be leaking on the out side as well.
Im in the middle of changing the intake manifold gasket. These cars were built real shity.
I have to take the push rods out just to change the intake gasket?

Send the head out to get magnafluxed. Hope to hell a waterjacket isnt cracked:toobad:
Or your head might need to be milled from deck warpage

I dont think its a head gasket.
\Maybe the water jackets like you said.I should just junk it if it is huh?\
Im uploading a video I will post the link when its done loading in a min.

Thanks for your help so far.

No no no, I'm not saying its the headgasket. I'm saying theres a possibility your head is cracked.
Remove the Head. (not the headgasket, the entire head from the engine block)
Take a precision straight edge and a feeler gauge and try sliding it under neath the edge of it criss cross and from end to end on both sides and the middle. This is how you check for warpage. If its warped too bad your SOL, otherwise you might be able to get it milled so the warpage isnt that bad. check in your repair manual for specs on warpage.

The other possibility is that your head is cracked in some area. Send it to a machine shop to get magnafluxed. This uses powder and a high power magnet to draw the powder towards the crack thus making it more visible.

Dont know what else i can tell ya man.
