I have a 1991 Eagle Talon TSI AWD 5spd.. I looked under the car and it looks like it's leaking under the transfer case. It also looks like the car is leaking from the line that goes into the oil pan. That's just a first few issues. Here's the major problem. When the car is off all the gears shift fine, but when it's running the gears grind like mad when trying to shift. I can't even get into first gear at all because it grinds so bad. Well I was able to get the car in reverse and when I was backing up I heard a grinding noise that sounded like it was coming from the trans.. I don't think it made this noise while going forward though. Here is the story. I recently had an ACT 2600 clutch installed 500-600 miles ago. Before this was installed the car ran fine with the stock setup. I don't know if the flywheel was cut right to match the ACT setup or what. Would this cause a grinding noise when I go in reverse and cause the car not to be able to shift? Or, is this noise caused by the transfer case leaking? Or, is the trans. bad? The trans. was just rebuilt though and shifted fine without any grinding also before the ACT clutch was installed. Please help me guys and let me know what you think. Thanks in advance.

have you tried adjusting the clutch...

Get your ass underneath the pedal assembly and adjust the clutch after blleding the sh!t out of your complete system!! You should be fine after this, as long as you havent already cause too much damage.
