difference b/w turbo and non-turbo fuel rail?

hey guys, i picked up a replacement fuel rail because I cracked mine. it was a 4G63 motor i pulled it from, but not a turbo. i compared both and they appear to be the same (length and all that) the only thing I noticed is that the non-turbo says 3730-2 on it and the turbo says 3730-1 on it. that and the castings have different #s on them (there's little round squares with different #s)

my guess is that they're made of different materials (different grades of metal)

but before i call it done, is there a functional difference between the two?

I don't think so. I got a few fuel rails and some are turbo and some are none turbo. I can't really tell the difference between them. I checked the fittings went in snuggly, and they do.

So Other then that they seem the same.

Probably not. Car manufacturers with use the same parts between as many platforms as possible. Heck, the 2008 Viper shares pistons and rods with a Dodge V8 engine.

Nope, they work the same. I once cracked a fuel rail much like you and did exactly what you did, bought and used a NT rail.
