Have you pulled the TCU out to see if the caps leaked on the board. I am thinking that the TCU controls when to actuate the solenoids. So somehow it is not "seeing" what RPM causing a no shift condition. I cant be positive that a bad pulse generator wouldnt do this, but IMHO it would go into limp mode if it was bad. Anyway worth a look into that TCU to make sure theres nothing fishy about it!
