I have been trying to get my 91 gsx running right for quite some time now. It starts fine, idles fine, and runs. However the whole time its running it is missing(sounds exactly like a subaru) and has no power. With the engine running I went and pulled each injector harness out one by one. On harness #1, the motor makes no change and even the IDC and IPW on my logger stay the same with #1 disconnected. So I went and replaced all of my injectors...still did the same thing. Wired a new harness onto #1...still does the same thing. Does anyone have any other ideas?

Check your ignition timing, if that is set with in appropriate specs check your electrical system, check your spark plug gap.

Measure the #1 injector's ballast resistor to make sure it's not blown. If within spec (usually 5-6 ohms) AND you have +12V at injector, then check continuity of wire from injector to ECU. If you touch this wire to ground (which is what the ECU does) the injector should fire. If it fires, your ECU is bad on that injector circuit (or wire connection is bad to ECU).
