Ok, here is the next issue with my eclipse that started happening:

When i go from a stop into a left turn, i get what can be best described as either a loud whining or grinding noise coming out of somewhere on the right (passenger side) wheel area. Now I've recently replaced driver's side lower control arms/ball joints and cv alxe and that eliminated some clunking problems on that side, so any guess as to what this may be? another CV alxe perhaps? it's a gs fwd, 5 speed, by the way.

I'm having the same issue on my 1g, but I'm 99.9% sure I warped my rotors. How does your brake pedal feel? I know mine pulses under moderate braking, so I'm assuming my pads are just rubbing on the rotor as I take the turn. But, now I'm also going to go check my gear oil levels LoL
Let us know what solves the problem :thumb:

Well since you brought it up, I'll admit that it was actually my power steering fluid was completely bone dry. Like not even a drop on the dipstick. I got into the habit of assuming that something is broken on this car, and overlooked the simple things!
