Ok everyone this is my issue with my 92' laser RS turbo awd. the car has pretty much everything new in it (gaskets top to bottom, all new sensors, rebuilt ecu, different stock 1g maf and cam sensor). went through numerous troubleshooting steps and swaping parts! when the car is at base ignition timing the car runs fine at idle but when driven it recieves boost (aprox 15 psi) and is not to rich or lean and feels like a geo metro. but when the cam sensor is at max advance it runs like it is suposed to! very strange. every time I would adj ignition timming advance 1 dagree at a time it gets better each time until it is maxed out on the cam sensor! and it isn't that lean at full advance either! need help bad and asap! ran 14.7 at the track with it advanced all of the way and 18lb of boost, but at stock base timming ran 16.6.! need help bad :(

on 1gs the cam sensor is adjustable for igniton timming and the car only feels normal when it is advanced to the max!

the book says stock timming is suposed to be at 5* BTDC at idle and with the cam sensor maxed it's coming out just over 10* and thats the only time the car will ever run right! it's almost like theres something weak on the ignition side (not burning the fuel/air good enough)! it's down right strange!

problem I found was just not enough fuel delivery for the set-up that was on the car! I ordered up a walbro 255 and 550cc injectors for it and now it's fine! thanks for all of your guy's assistance reguarding my issue it did help me troubleshoot some things that also needed resolving! thanks again!
