hello everybody i am new to dsmtuners and i have a question for you all. My car is running rich and everything's stuck. I only have a front mount innercooler and 2g mas sensor. When i turn on my car my air and fuel gage goes to rich and it stays there and it doesnt move until i turn the car back off so please if you could help me. THanks :talon:
 
Air/Fuel gauges only really read at WOT, thats AT BEST. You won't be able to tell if your running rich with an A/F gauge. If anything, I would expect your to run a little leaner with the 2g mas and FMIC and no tuning. Not enough I don't think to be a problem since all DSMs run a little richer from the factory.

Most people get A/F gauges just to enjoy the lightshow
 
Well when i accelarate my car to 3500 rpms my car starts smoking. I purchased an Apexi SAFC Super Air Fuel Converter SAFC 1 on ebay today and i put 1030 oil so i think the turbos probably burning some oil but i dont know. So if you have anymore answers i would appreciate it. Thanks.
 
Your burning oil. take your intake off and see if there is any oil or residue in your intake. I had to take the vacuum line goin from my valve cover to my intake off and cap it off. I put a breather filter on my valve cover nipple and that stopped it. I learned that from a buddy who had DSMs.

A logger is what you need to tune with. You won't be able to make adjustments with your SAFC without knowning what your car is running currently. You can use a palm pilot with some sort of logging software, like this www.pocketlogger.com. You can also tune with a wideband.

Or use a catch can there is a reason it is there.
 
yeah when my mechanic had my car, he was generous and washed it. he washed under my engine, and got water in my first cylinder spark plug (removed the plastic piece on valve cover). it would bog down at red lights and stuff. when i got it home and turned off my engine i heard a gurgling sound, i took out my wire to my 1st cylinder and there was liquid in it. i first thought it was gas and i blew out a seal. it didnt have a smell though. and it was light brown. took a air hose and blew it out.
