Ok, so I was driving in a rain storm and when I got home I realized that only one headlight was working. Well, it was on put barely even bright enough to see. And the bright bulb on that side didn't work either. So I changed the bulb on the non working side. And nothing. So I went to unplug the harness under the headlight housing and water pretty much poured out of it and the wires that went to it. I tested the voltage on the wires and it was very low. The other side showed 12 volts. From there the three wires going to the harness go into another huge harness of wires and I lost it after that. Does anyone know if there is a fuse or sensor or anything somewhere that might be causing this problem? Thanks.

Has everything already dried out when you tried to fix it? Maybe it just needs some more time.

I doubt that a fuse is a problem if the other headlight works. You can check it though if you'd like. On a 1g, the fuse is by the driver's left leg in that fusebox. Not sure about a 2g though. It's either there or in the box under the hood.

Typically when a headlight is dim it is because of a poor connection ground or hot. If you had alot of water there it could have traveled through the wire and corroded it under the insulation. The copper wire does not like water and will turn green and break or leave only one strand of copper wich is not enough to carry full current for a headlight. This is also very typical if you or some one else spliced thr harness any where for any reason and didnt properly seal it back up. Sometimes a bad headlight switch or a bad fuse on some cars will also do this. try probing back as far as you can and see if you can isolate a bad spot in a wire.
