Gatineau,
I did some searching but nobody really seems to have this exact problem...

I installed a clutch on a 1998 with a 6 bolt swap. It's a Bully stage 4 and it's got the needle-bearing pressure plate so the pedal pressure is only slightly more than stock even though it's got about 3500lb of clamping.

We bled the clutch since the car sat for 4 years. Everything seemed dandy but after a few hours of sitting the clutch seemed to go spongy. So I checked it over and the master was leaking. Replaced it. The problem came back, although not as bad. Considering the slave was only $30 I did it too. Again, some improvement but the problem is still there.

In the morning I can hop into the car and the clutch needs to be pumped up before it will work properly. I see no leaks in the clutch lines - they're all bone dry at the fittings. We've bled it a number of times.

Any suggestions on where to look now?

When I got the car there was only 1/2 an engine so for that part I think we used a brake line off a VW. I assume that it's not leaking because the fittings are all completely dry.

I believe it is properly adjusted. The problem is not that the clutch is pumping itself up it's that the clutch goes dead and I have to pump it a bunch of times to make it work. I think next I should just replace all the lines.
