Hey there guru's...I've got a HUGE problem. My '95 TSI AWD won't run at all, let me give the long and drawn-out explanation of what happened:

The car one day died on my wife, I go to start it, it runs HORRIBLE bad, I finally decide to park it, look underneath, and my catalytic is CHERRY RED! Stupid me thinks the cat is clogged, so I cut a MASSIVE hole in it to get it home(about ten miles or so), it still runs like @ss, but I DID get it home. It hasn't been running since. I replaced the cat, BOTH O2 sensors(with universal ones, I know, bad, bad, bad, but you'll see why...) I replaced the fuel pump with a Walbro 255, replaced the coil pack, put in a Blitz BOV, vented to atmosphere(Doesn't make ANY difference using the stock btw). So, I check the plugs, fouled to high heavens, clean them, gap them, put them back in, it starts, runs rough. I try to shut it off, and restart, it starts and IMMEDIATELY shuts back off, it just won't stay running. I check the plugs again, FOULED. Clean, gap, etc...Starts, runs rough, same EXACT thing as before, check plugs again...FOULED. From the smell of things it is running rich. I just need to know what's fouling these plugs, why it's running rich. I mean, I know universal O2 sensors stink, but I really can't see these things not even lasting through a couple cranks. I don't have a logger, nor can I afford one after all the BS this thing has put me through.

PLEASE, for the love of God help?

Thanks everyone!

Why spend your money on all "this BS" but not get a logger first to get at least a path to follow? It probably would have saved you money in the long run. I mean, have you even run a boost leak test? Abnormally high %IDC or hertz counts can at least tell you to suspect a boost leak. And a boost leak is likely the cause here.

HA! Only have spark on two cylinders...WOOT! #1 and #4 cylinders have no spark. Tried two different coil packs, both have the same result. Anyone think it may be the POWER TR UNIT shown on an earlier post?

Oh, by the way, thanks for the reply dsm-onster, but it is not a boost leak, checked, checked again, and re-checked...
