Okay, Bought a rebuilt longblock from KarKing auto in california.
Got the motor in and did the moto man method
250miles did a compression test as follows
Cylinder 1- 130
Cylinder 2- 135
Cylinder 3- 140
Cylinder 4- 135
So far no so not bad.

500miles
Cylinder 1- 135
Cylinder 2- 145
Cylinder 3- 140
Cylinder 4- 135
Getting better.

So I took it out it was running great, came to an intersection to turn right but some **** was to the left of me going straight blocking my view, as i pull out i see this truck flying towards me so i floor it and hit 6kOMG i felt guilty so i took it home, the car felt like it lost power.
Compression test as of today 10 minutes ago
Cylinder 1- 125
Cylinder 2- 125
Cylinder 3- 126
Cylinder 4- 125
To this point all of the test where run dry.
Did a wet Test and Bam 150s across the board.
Called Karking and the guy tells me its suppose to have low compression, i was just like WTF it should be at 150. He tells me if i want to pull the motor and pay for roundtrip shipping($250) And tells me to check my "turbo might not be boosting". Like i dont know what a turbo is. Not to mention he wasnt exactly all nice and fuzzy about it either.

So my question is should the compression come back up?
Would Retorquing the head studs make a difference(i havent done that)
I dont think it would be worth pulling the whole Effing motor out again and paying 250+ for shipping. Putting in new rings would be half if not 1/4 of the labor where i could add ARP headstuds to seal the deal.
Im really frustrated with this whole situation, last week the car was running better then ever, now its back to square one.

Im not too sure, but the warranty only is a 6month and i bought it on 3/23/07 so my days are limited.
Ive been reading a lot of other posts and im wondering if i did re-ring it, if its necessary to hone it, being that the motor has 630miles on it as of now.

Im going to buy a leak down tester today and see what that tells me.

Okay update:
Did a leakdown test, cylinders 4,2, and 1 all showed 10% leakdown, being heard by the dipstick and oil cap, cylinder 3 showed 19% leak down by the dipstick and oil cap.
Did another compression test and theyre all running at 130psi. As of now i have 700 miles on my motor. Any ideas, suggetions and comments would help me get some more sleep at night

If it's not getting worse your doing ok. However, the service limit for compression on our cars with 7.8 to 1 pistons is 121 and 164psi. If your not worried about the warranty then you could rering it. I did it with my n/t 92 2.0 Eclipse and it woked fine. I wrapped the crankshaft with newspaper and had it honed with ball hone. Make shure to clean the cylinders very well before installing the pistons. Also, everything you take apart needs to go back where it was[example rod caps on the same rods and in the same direction, pistons back in the same cylinders they came out of]. Have you figured out why this happened? What is your afr at that RPM?

Not too sure about HG thickness but since then my compression has gone up, last time i checked it, it was at 130s-140s at 700 miles. car has about 1200 on it now and i fixed a few boost leaks that were hiding and i must say shes powerful now. Powerful enough to hang with a camaro SS while i was running 16psi. Even if my compression isn't above 140 im satisfied for a DD. I appreciate your inputs guys!:talon:
