Running rich, backfire and stutter when building boost.. .help...

Alright guys i was driving my 1998 eclipse gst in the rain the other day car drove fine boosted with no problems and then i parked and went to work. When i got in my car 8 hours later every time i go over 3k rpm and begin to boost i begin to backfire and stutter. I did a boost test and i fixed a few leaks but nothing major. I changed my plugs i had to use bosch (spelling) titanium and i know not to use them but i had to see if plugs were the problem. Plugs didnt help. Now im debating purchasing wires becuase i notice that there is black around my exhaust and on my bumper. Could wires be the cause of running rich? My mods include fmic,mbc,freemods,k,n cone filter, 2.5 downpipe, 3 in high flow cat and 3" strait pipe back with a glasspack on the end. The car was running fine.. sat for a lil bit and bam not working. Could my bov be the problem? i am running a evo 8 mr bov (metal). If it wasnt flowwing correctly would i possible get the lean migture? i also have low idle.. somewhere around 500rpm but its solid dosnt really move around. I have no cel coming up so i dont know what the problem is...

If it is not recirculated if running it after the MAF it could be a proble if it is not working properly. Isn't this bov style the "twin piston" that can be "vented"? If it is broken and functioning like a "regular" bov then it will definately cause a problem. It perhaps is blowing open and causing you to run rich on accel (boost), but when not boosting a boost leak goes into a vacuum leak and leans you out unless your ecu can correct it w/ fuel trims.
 
did you ever solve this problem? I am having the same problem also my 2nd O2 sensor is just hangin by the exhaust since I have no cat but I get no CEL
