Hi everyone,

I am in the middle of my install, currently putting in my Apex'i Neo with 550cc injectors installed. My problem is that it doesn't look like I am actually changing anything when I change settings on my S-AFC. The S-AFC is setup for karman, and when I go to the sensor check all I see next to karman is two little humps.... shouldn't there be a voltage reading for this? Also, should the 550s drive without any changes to the fuel system? because it idles, and drives (although not the best, and of course I haven't boosted or anything). I'm just wondering if I'm doing something wrong (probably) or if there is an easy fix for this. I know its on the right wire, and I have tried switching the karman input/output on the S-AFC.

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks

with the 550cc you will be running rich.

stock is 450cc, you know this im sure. so obviously you will be running rich unless you compensate. How do you plan to tune? what methods.

or by "Also, should the 550s drive without any changes to the fuel system?" do you mean fuel pump, ???

Well from what everyone had told me, it sounded like if i had the SAFC zeroed out and put in my 550s, it would be almost undrivable. This was not the case, as it could drive fine with some hiccups from obviously running too rich (and not going over like 3,000 rpms ;)). From what people had said I just thought that it would barely run at all with the 550s in there.

I ended up figuring it out, though. I had it hooked up just fine, i just didn't know that the two little 'humps' for the karman reading meant that it was hooked up correctly. I thought there would be a voltage reading there. So, the SAFC works great, got my logger hooked up, and now I just need to install the 190.

thanks, as always

excellent, be careful with that white plastic ring. I had to use a hammer and screwdriver to peck on the edges to loosen mine up. (gas tank)

the Karman reading is in HZ (hertz) not voltage

You are correct, sorry for my error.

And, even though its in hz, still no readings anywhere, but it does work. Just has two little bumps to say its connected, weird.
