OK, when I first start up my car, no smoke. Once I start to drive it, depending on how hard I get on it, it will start to smoke. If I go WOT, it smokes a lot. The smoke has a blue tint to it so I know its oil, plus it smells like burning oil. Things I did to try to figure out:

1.Checked for shaft play, and had no shaft play what so ever. No oil or coolant on the compressor wheel.

2.I did a compression test, all four cylinders hold 178PSI

3.I checked if the head was torqued down to 75lbs and it was.

4.Catch can hardly had any oil in it.

5.Data from last log:
RPMs O2v Timing
3896 0.93 11
4420 0.93 11
4876 0.93 11
5260 0.93 14
5628 0.93 17
6000 0.93 18
6292 0.93 17
6572 0.95 19
6784 0.95 20
6916 0.91 38

the tan plug color isnt anything abnormal. you can be burning oil from a few places. either from your valve seals, valve guide seals, rings, or turbo. time to diagnose your car. From the looks of your log you arent getting any knock so thats a good thing.

All cylinders held 178PSI so I dont think its a piston ring. I checked the turbo, and it had no oil on it what so ever, so I dont think its that. I'm guessing valves. How can I check to see if i'm leaking from the valves?

OK, I took off my exhaust manifold and it was bone dry. I didnt want to take off the turbo so I took off the down pipe and checked the O2 housing and that was bone dry also. I drove it to work today and paid close attention to when it smokes. I noticed that it doesnt matter what rpm it is. It only smokes when I let go of the gas after WOT, such as when I shift or just letting it go. If I drive "normal" it doesnt smoke. I could be going 120 mph with 30% throttle and it will not smoke. I take off in first gear WOT and it will smoke when I shift. Any suggestions?

You might be pressurizing your crankcase under higher boost caused by a leaking PCV valve and/or improperly setup crankcase ventilation system. You mentioned you are using an oil catch can. How do have the routing set up? Is it a vented or sealed can?

You can check for a leaking PCV by unscrewing it from the crankcase but leaving it hooked up to the intake manifold. Pressurize your intake (boost leak test) and check for leakage past PCV.

Describe the routing for your CC ventilation (if different from stock) and I'll try to help you out more.

I have the catch can routed in between the the intake and the hose coming from the passanger side of the engine. it is a vented one with a little k&n type filter on top.

I'll do a boost leak test like you mentioned when I go home later today.

If it does turn out to be a leaking PCV (almost all of them leak even when new) there is a fix found here. Scroll down to middle of page. http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=229338&page=2&highlight=pcv

The catch can is good for minimizing oil in the intake but you should remove the filter and seal the top otherwise you are pulling unmetered air into the engine under boost.

Let me know what you find.:)

i havent been able to do a boost leak test yet, i'll do that tonight after school. I did change out the PCV and the catch can. It does not smoke as much as it did, but it still does. It seems to smoke when I come to a stop after hard pulls.
