I have a brand new battery- and a brand new alternator- both check out at 13.6~V and I have thoroughly checked my car for things being left on.... My car dies if it sits for more than 5hrs without being started!
It is really pissing me off to have to pull my negative everywere I go, I also have DSMLink on the way- and 2g DSMLinks dont have a constant memory setting- it resets everytime the battery is pulled! WTF!
I have gone through and found several shorts, and ripped grounds/ etc.... while improving the performance of my car, the power problem persists.
If it sits for more than at least 5hrs, the battery goes completely dead. I have checked all fuses, radio, amp- BTW, I dont have a capacitor ( 1500watts) but I doubt that, that would cause my problem b/c the amp is off when I turn the car off.
Please, I need this resolved before I get DSMLink, Thank you to all who help/ attempt too.....
