Wastegate arm keeps popping off pin

Well my wastegate arm was never connected to the little pin when i bought my car. Now the hole on the little pin where the holding pin should go is all rusted and i have tried to clean it out with no luck. So i was able to get the wastegate arm back onto the pin and fabricate myself a holding pin that went around the whole little pin where the arm goes on to hold. That worked for about 2 mins. So i did the same thing again, this time using super glue (ghetto yes, but i was rushing) that worked for about 1 1/2 weeks and just now came off as i was coming back from lunch at my job. Now I am out of ideas, can someone please help me so i can get it to stay, in the future i will def be buying a new turbo probably by the end of summer, so i dont need to make it look perfect. Just something that will hold when i boost and work correctly. Later tonight i will try to get some pics up and show how i did it and maybe someone can show me something better to do.

I just read what i wrote and its kinda confusing but hopefully everyone can understand to help, thanks in advance.

take your dremel and a small drill bit and drill the clogged hole. Purchase a $0.02 cotter pin and put it through the hole as it was intended.
