i need help!!!...backfiring b.t 2 and 3rd gears, during acceleration

does any1 know what it might b?...when im accelerating from 2nd to 3rd gear, mr car backfires, its not a major backfire, but i can feel the whole thing rock back, and hear it from the tail pipe. its not a normal backfire either, it doesnt sound like one at least...this ones real low pitch. what might it be, and how can i get it fixed?..ill try to give more details if you need....

Things to check/buy in this order:

1. Plug wires
2. Plugs.
3. Throttle body may need cleaned.
4. MAS.
5. Fuel pump.

The MAS and fuel pump are far stretches. It only happens between 2nd and 3rd? You cannot duplicate the lurch between any other gears or at any other time?

That's a great list. In addition, I'd pull the intake and check for shaft play on the turbo just for kicks.
