Battery wont hold charge

the car was running fine in my drive way while i was trying to get dsm link to connect. all the sudden it starts idling crappy and just stalls. the car will not run unless hooked up to jumper cables or a battery charger. the fuses looked fine and theres a wierd buzzing noise coming from behind the radio. does any one have a clue what happened to this stupid car?

Your ecu Probably let out. Take it out, its behind the radio, the capacitors are notorious for breaking over time. Unscrew the cover and check it out.

Take apart that ECU and visually inspect for damage.

Do the simple stuff first............have the battery and alternator checked out before you start really tearing into other things.

The 1Gs are the ones with capacitor issues. Sure, you can have issues with a 2G ECU, but that would be a "further down the road" check for this problem.
