GSX is bogging down at 2500 rpms...PLEASE HELP! this doesnt make sense!

before I start let me say that I have read all the posts for this and it hasnt helped...

Alright so I have a 2g GSX with an AIResearch T04 turbo and all suporting mods. I have a SAFC for tuning...

my problem is that the car cranks fine...idles fine at about 1000 rpms...but when I go to drive it it seems fine until you get to about 2500 rpms and then it just wont go past that point...it doesnt matter if you put the gas all the way to the floor it just bogs down when it gets to that point...it just started doing this...it was driving fine when i parked it and then when i went to crank it back up this is what it was doing....
someone told me it could be the tps sensor...i replaced it and it didn't fix it. i also recently
also the car threw a CEL and i pulled the code. code is P0100. says it is a MAF circuit malfunction....i have tried 2 different new mass air flow sensors and nothing changed so does anyone know what this might be?

Check for boost leaks. If you are very light on the throttle can you get past 2.5k rpm? I pretty much had a disconnected coupler and when i "floored" it after 3k rpm it was like hitting a wall.
 
Is the CEL still on? If not that code could just be a stored one and not be the cause of the problem. Definitely check for a boost leak though I'm thinking this may not your problem. I've experienced the same thing as elfroggo suggested but that doesn't quite sound like what your describing.
 
I agree with what was said above.. check all your vac lines then your couplers. If your leaking.. building boost and idle will be compromised. If everything checks up there I'd check your harness to your mass.. If the mass isnt connected properly then you can end up with the same symptoms. I actually had this problem on 2 occasions and one was the clip on the harness for the mass and the other time was a spark plug wire popping off just enuff to not make spark with the plug.

no it will not let me get past 2500 even if i am very light on the throttle...i guess i will get started looking for boost leaks today...i will let you know how it goes...
 
Mine got funky after I go rid of dsmlink..im running a 96 ecu in my 97 and switched the wires and all that. It just feels like it struggles at 2500 but I can get past it and then its fine...Im going to change the plugs and clean the mas. Ill let you know if my hesitation goes away.
