i have a 99 spyder and it went into the dealership to get a new torque convertor and oil pump, i was wondering if to get to either of those did they have to take off my timing belts? my car has been running rough since i got it back and i have a squeeling in the area of the timing belts, could the problem be that my timing is off?

yeah the oil pump is connected to the back balance shaft, therefore the timing belt has to come off in order to get the oil pump cover off, so yeah, just take a look at your timing marks to see if they did something wrong, just look at the crankshaft pulley and see if the marks on that lines up with the mark on the lower timing belt cover, then check your camshaft timing marks and see if they are facing each other when the crankshaft is in time..

NVM, i see you have a N/T engine, so perhaps it is a tad different.. not sure, i am only familiar with the 4G63...
