resonating sound from the rear awd

my 95 gsx has a resonating sound coming from the rear of the car not a vibration. As i am at highway speed going around the sweeping corners found on a highway the noise gets louder turning to the left than going straight and when making a right turn on the highway its gets quiter that when going straight. i can't really hear the sound until i hit about 30 mph any help is much appreciated thanks

Your rear passenger side wheel bearing is going bad. Good luck with the install; if your car has spent any amount of time around salt, prepare to have a hell of a time getting everything apart back there.

The reason the noise gets quieter as you turn right is because its taking alot of the load off of the wheel bearing.

I would also suggest a wheel bearing from the description.

You can help diagnose it by "snaking" the vehicle safely at a constant speed, while the noise is occuring.
