High idle

I Just put a JDM motor in my 95 talon. It runs great but as it warms up the idle speed keeps getting higher. Any ideas what could be causing this???

Could be a bad ISC, BISS, stuck throttle, or a vaccuum leak among other things. The idle surge vfaq may also provide some insight.

First of all there is no such thing as eclipse jdm anything. Secondly do a boost leak test, anytime you do an engine swap do a boost leak test before you even start the motor. Just add it to the list, fuel check, oil check, coolant check, boost leak check, start the engine.

Just got am new IAC. Havent been able to put it in yet but I should get it in this afternoon. Thanks for all the advice. I'll let you know how it goes. Oh, and the motor I put in in a JDM 4G63 and how i know this is 2 ways the guy i bought it from got it from the importer and it is a no emissions motor.

is your car supposed to idle at 2000 rpms when cold? mine does and then when its warm it idles at 1000rpms. i thought normal idle was supposed to be about 700.

No, It should be around 750 stock... check your BISS screw. It's located on the top of the throttle body...
