wierd noise/pressure in rear when driving in rain

So yeah, my car sucks...


ANWAYS... When it rains, as im driving, everything fine, and then suddenly i get this really loud noise from what sounds like my rear left . It sounds like, say if you were to ride a bicycle and someone was holding a piece of cardboard or something on the tire as you pedal? Sort of like that. Anyways, when i step on the gas, it also feels REALLY resistant.

Everytime it happens, i sort of think somethings hitting my tire so i go out and check and nothing is loose.

I also sort of think it MIGHT be something with the exhaust, since i can't really pinpoint the exact location. The noise is the same as i described above each time i hit the gas. It comes and goes, but i feel like i'm going to break something every time i drive.

Any suggestions? thankss

It could be somthing as simple as your brake pad holder rubbing your rotor. personally id check the cheap route first take off your wheel remove the brake caliper lube up all the pins and put it all back together i think the lubes about 99 cents...

better check your wheel nuts to see if they are loose and torque them properly.

happened to me when i first bought my car. the owner was messing around and taken the wheels off. i asked if he tightened all the nuts and he said yes. so i drove it home at night, kept making those noises that you said. so i stopped because it was getting worst. the nuts were almost off. I was shocked when i saw it because if i had not stopped to check and kept driving the wheel probably went flying off.

If it's AWD, your transfer case may be a suspect. But we don't know what to tell you until you pick up your end.
