hey guys ive got a big problem......my 1g ehxaust manifold and the exhaust inlet housing cracked purty badly. So i bought the GT headers EvoIII manifold and a TRUE MHI evo III big 16g turbo w/porting option to replace it.

i replaced it, hooked up the lines and go it all back together with new exhaust manifold gasket, turbo gasket, O2 gasket and downpipe gasket.

its much harder and longer to crack now, but it will start, it will idle fine, but when you gas it, it bogs and sounds like its bogging out, but the spark plugs look like its running lean....

if i take the airfilter off, it will rev up some more before it bogs, but it still happens.....

it also smokes a lil when its at operating temperature covering the manifold, but i think its just burning off any grease from my hands or packaging....

im gonna swap out the wastegates back to the original one.....soo what happens......

WHERE SHOULD I CHECK FOR VACCUUM LEAKS?

Did you torque everything down?Double check everything in the engine compartment you might of knocked off something (if have done this before). Do a boost leak test and tighten up any leaks that you see or feel. Also check your fuel make sure its right.

:thumb: fuel!!!!!!!

apparently my fuel pump started goin out at the same time as my turbo....

i checked checked and rechecked EVERYTHING

i have even chased a car down in a parkin lot to look at its vacuum line setup and whatnot....

then i decided "ehhh i'm gonna start turnin the boost up after i get this figured out..."so i got a fuel pressure gauge, installed it....and found out that i was running 30psi @idle and 20@halfthrottle

a walbro 255 pump and buschur fuel pressure regulator are on their way...
