95 gsx

90 galant vr4 6bolt

so everthing is swapped ive done about 6 of these swaps but never had this issue..

the mechanical timeing is dead on not even half a tooth off.. the plugs are fireing all of them.. and the fuel injectors are also fireing..

i used a 2341 fireing order and swapped the injector plugs and she still wont start up.. has even cranking and 150 psi acrost the board for compression.. but no starting.. everthing is new plugs wires i have tried diffrent fireing order comination's new power transistors,

Now please someone give me a lead where to go next..

thank you.

Is it possible that the cas is 180* out? It can be installed in two different orientations, and only one will actually allow the car to run correctly.

Also, after the plugs get fuel soaked, it can be hard to get things lit up. Please be sure the plugs are dry. :)tease: There's been a couple times I fixed the problem I was working on, but the plugs were soaked, and so I went blithely on,...fixing stuff that wasn't broke...:shhh:)

In a proccess like this it's really easy to get off track and miss something. I would strongly suggest putting everything back the way you think it should be, and then taking a timing light to the #1 cylinder and verify the spark is coming at the right time.

This may be a good time to get a beer and do some searching on 6 bolt conversions. There's about a kerbillion write ups on the swap. It's quite possible that you'll find someone else has had the exact same issue, and has posted the solution.

Good luck, and let us know how it turns out.:thumb:

ya ive one a lot of the.. what happened was the previous dude put a 1g cas on the 7bolt motor trying to be kewl apparently.. so he also managed to swap the injector plugs and fireing order..

so i used a NOID light and figured out what injector plug was fireing then then matched it up with what plug was firewing when, after all was said and done it fired up, the only issue now is that it has a hell of a time starting initally but after warmed up it does ok.. i think the fuel is draining back into the tank when it sits for more than an hour or so.. something's now workin right
