The car had it's 60K service and is now at 100K.

The damn thing has developed a leak from the pulley side of the engine. It isn't instantaneous but turns into a constant drip, drip when the car is fully warmed up.

I think it's coming from the filter housing, but I can't be sure. I can't rule out the water pump, but I just can't see anything coming down from there.

I am tempted to replace the oil filter housing with an external one, but I just can't figure out where to start or what the problem could be!

I had the same problem and same syptoms with my 95 Talon and it's was the water pump.

I'm in the process of replacing it now.

Did you replace the water pump when you did the 60k service? I had mine leak shortly after due to improper o-ring seal in the water line.

Yeah, the 60K included a mitsu WP.. it was the complete kit from prostreet.

It looks like it's weaping from the oil pressure sender/gauge (the big one down there) WTF

Thanks for the replies guys.

If your looking under the car (as best I can at the moment) it looks like it is coming from sender. If you look from the top, all I can see is a small wet patch on the housing. I know water can travel in strange ways so I am not limiting my options at this point.

I can't get a good look untill I get it home to jack it up. I have a 40 min trip and 20 min of normal coolant temps. It will be a fun day tomorrow!
