 Alright..., i have read every post on this topic and it still doesnt sound like what my car is doing!!! I have a 99' GSX, it has lately been "bogging" down when i get to about 2200 rpm its like the motor is miss firing. But it will pull out of it and then go back to running normaly. This only happens every couple of weeks. I have know clue and have asked many mechanics about it and they have no clue on imports. Arkansas sucks for import machanics. I have been thinkin that the fuel pump might be going out or something. It has 80000 miles on it and it has been doing this for about two months. If this post is to vague sorry its the best i can discribe. Thanx- Cobb

I also have some similar conditions. I get it at most, maybe once a week. I think it can be attributed to some sort of boost leak. I myself have been far to lazy to actually check it out though. Its been doing it for probably 2 years, but it disappears for months on end at times.

Part throttle and when it starts doing it i put it at WOT and it sometimes still does it and sometimes it pulls out of it. Sorry its been doing it so long that it seems like it does it when i am in a hurry!!

ya mine does it at part throttle also. And your right it does always seem to happen when you need to be somewhere quick. But when it happens for me, its only for a second. Then its normal for another month or so.

Well mine does it more often. Like its doing it right now! And thats y i started this post is b/c i am tired of it and it seems like its alittle woirse since i got my exhuast which is 3'' and no cat and no o2. i was thinkin i might need a o2 semulator but i am under the influence that you dont have to have one that its just ok to have it unplugged. So that might realy be my problem but who knows thats y i am asking.

Well i agree but, where can i get one and how much b.c i dont know about you but i aint rollin in the dough. haha but if needed i will cut down on eatin out.:D

I'd say you need a logger so you can see what the ecu is doing when that happens.
Bah, I never have my logger plugged in when this happens. It seriously is such a rare occurance. Atleast for me.

Your problem sounds kinda like turbo lag. I am no pro on turbos yet but that is what yours sounds like. I learned alot about that b.c i thought that was my problem ato first.

Plugs, wires, boost leak test?

Not plugs or wires, but the last one i havent had time for. My only question is that if it was a boost leak y would it only happen for alittle while and then stop?
