I'll make this simple. Just got my new 2600 ACT clutch installed. Ran fine all day, go up to my office for about 2 hours, come down and the car is completly dead...get it jumped drive up to school for my nigth class, turn my car off...completly dead...anyone?

yeah im going to give that a shot tonight, thanks...i mean a car cant just run for 20 min. straight and then when i turn my car off, there is literally nothing...

oh yeah, i completly forgot...when the car WAS on before i turned it off, i would turn my lights on and right when they switched on my car would "shut off" and come right back on...like my rpms would hit zero, my radar would reset, my stereo turned off and back on...it is all just so weird...anyone else?

Get a new Battery ... car runs after jump + won't start immediately after you turn it off = dead battery

In regards to what happened with your light switch and electrical, I had a similar problem for a while. My tail lights and dash cluster lights all went out for no reason. I searched everywhere for the problem and couldnt find a thing, and not driving my car at night sucked. So I was messing with my stereo one night and I decided to turn to my lights just to see if maybe it worked. My stereo turned off then on again like what happened to you. So I messed around with the power wires to the head unit and finally cut the ground coming from the car's wiring harness and grounded it elsewhere, and my lights came right on. I couldnt believe they were somehow connected like that, and I was amazed that somebody else actually had the same thing happen kinda.

LOL

Get your handy dandy multimeter which everyone should have in their tool box. Check your battery voltages. 12.6 is fully charged. If it's below 12 volts it's dead. Attempt to crank and observe the voltage on the battery. Is it staying or dying off. Once running, check and confirm your alternator is functioning. 13.5 to 14.5 volts should be sufficient.

Don't just swap parts until you miraculously "hit it"

If you hit an anomolous reading, check it out.

thanks a lot guys...it was just a dead battery, sorry about that...i just got my new clutch put in i was pissed off my car wouldn't run so i freaked out and didn't think clearly...thanks for your help
