Ok I have 3 main problems with my 91 Eclipse GSX,well 4 if you include me not having a digital camera. 1. when I drive fast(race people) my oil gauge goes way down almost to empty but when I stop it goes back up after awhile. 2. My cruise control (yes its an auto)doesnt work and I cant figure out where the fuse is for it. 3. Last but not least, My lifters..i think.. make a ticking noise which goes away after a couple minutes of driving, what can I do to fix these problems?

Check your oil sending unit the could be a short somewhere there or the wiring. The fuse should be under the drivers dash. Well the lifters get used to it. If you want to change them slowboyracing.com sells them which is supposed to stop the famous ticking sound we pretty much all hear.

1. Check you oil.

2. Buy a Chiltons or Hanes manual.

3. This is normal in DSM's. If you want to get rid of the problem you will have to get different lifters.

Putting one and three together makes it seem as if you have a problem possibly with your oil. Weather it be low or something wrong with the pump, you should check to make sure it has enough oil first. Do you have a CEL on?

whats a CEL? I have a chiltons manual and i looked in the fuse box but couldnt find one for cruise control
