Anyone know why 19lbs on t-25?

I just bought a dejon tool uicp with a crushed 1g bov, I installed it and my boost shot way up. It went from 13-14lbs to 18-19 lbs. When I get on it, it goes upto 18-19 then falls to like 17. I know this cant be safe so im tring to figure out what wrong. I have no idea why. I put the stock one back on and now its fine again. Why would this accur. All I got done to my car is a 2.5" catback, and a cheap k&n filter. Anyone want to help?

The boost increase is because your 2G BOV was leaking off above 13-14psi, therefore regulting the boost. The 1G BOV is not leaking. Check your wastegate actuator for proper operation. It should come open around 11-12psi, it could be getting stuck.

why does it open at 11-12 psi? even if ## set at, for example, 15psi. it will open around there? why?

you most likly removed your bcs restrictor which with the mods that you have will likely give you a higher than expected boost levels and a very high boost spike I would reccomend getting a (mbc) manual boost controller
